The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swick keeps the fight on the outside.
Sabrol with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Ricardo Sabrol seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sabrol throws a nice looking combination but Swick bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Sabrol wants to clinch up but Swick keeps it at a distance.
Swick looks to score with a jab to the body but Sabrol is just out of range.
Swick scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Sabrol avoids the head kick by Swick.
Sabrol shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Swick sprawls well. Swick wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sabrol gets slowly back to his feet.

Sabrol pivots, looking for a leg kick but Swick is out of range and Sabrol settles back down.
Sabrol throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Swick's waist but Swick gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sabrol off to one side.
Mic Swick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ricardo Sabrol.
Sabrol wants to clinch up but Swick keeps it at a distance.
