The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romano connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Lout gets caught flat footed, as Romano shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Romano is looking to work some ground and pound but Lout has wrist control.
Lout knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Romano on the ground.

Romano avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Romano advances position into side control!
Romano in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Lout avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Romano.
Romano working the ground and pound but Lout is defending the strikes.

Romano is working to tighten is grip on Lout's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Lout has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Romano is really squeezing tight and eventually Lout passes out! Romano breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
