The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Ren Mimura and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moreira shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Caloy but Caloy pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Moreira scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Moreira is working Caloy over with some ground and pound from side control.
Caloy is trying to get back to his feet.

Moreira throwing strikes but Caloy manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Caloy wants to lay and pray for a moment but Moreira keeps working.

Caloy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Moreira. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Caloy is trying to defend against the choke here but Moreira has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Moreira Tightens the hold and Caloy taps out furiously! Moreira displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
