Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Fu Manchu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenny Gomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gomi has chosen Slaap lekker! as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manchu swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Manchu just misses with a punch to the body.
Manchu throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Gomi ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Gomi closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Manchu did well to prevent Gomi getting side control.

Gomi is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Gomi seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Manchu does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

No joy there for Gomi, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Manchu throws out a loose jab but Gomi uses good head movement to avoid it.

Fu Manchu is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Gomi counters with a straight right hand.
Manchu throws a lazy right hand but Gomi sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Manchu connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Manchu tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Manchu throws a half hearted mid kick.
Manchu throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Manchu looks to throw the jab but Gomi is out of range.

Manchu throws a nice looking combination but Gomi bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Gomi slips a straight right by Manchu.
Manchu walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

and Gomi counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Manchu thinking.
Manchu is breathing heavily.
Gomi changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gomi shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Gomi was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Manchu is in a horrible position here. Gomi smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Manchu's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Gomi won't let Manchu get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
