Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Meacham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ultimate Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Ultimate Fighter enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Meacham!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ultimate Fighter!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Meacham fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Fighter sprawls well initially but Meacham persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fighter is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Meacham pulls his head out easily.

Meacham postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Fighter is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Meacham, into his guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Fighter got a little sloppy there for a moment and Meacham has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Fighter has managed to get both his arms back between Meacham's legs - danger averted.
