The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Row throws a right and a left that Hoodwell avoids nicely.
Hoodwell throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Row was covering up waiting for the punch and Hoodwell finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Row keeping moving, preventing Hoodwell from controlling successfully.
Hoodwell wants to pass the guard but Row is keeping the position.
Hoodwell is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Row is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Row has escaped and now he's on top!
Row avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Hoodwell is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Row has his hands clasped together but Hoodwell extends an breaks Row's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Hoodwell.
