Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Bauer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chuck Liddell!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A lazy left from Bauer finds it's target.
Liddell showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Bauer.
Liddell lands a big shot that drops Bauer! Can he finish him?


Bauer is rocked!


It looks like Jack Bauer has been cut.
Bauer utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Liddell wants to pass the guard but Bauer is keeping the position.
Liddell wanted to stand there but Bauer had control of the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Liddell trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Liddell wants to stand and escape but instead Bauer has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Liddell swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

and Liddell counters by moving into the clinch.
Bauer wants to break free but Liddell has control.

Liddell breaks from the clinch.
Bauer misses with a head kick.
Liddell wants to clinch.

Bauer has Liddell up against the cage in a clinch.
Bauer can't break the clinch.
Bauer is trying to break free.
Liddell tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Bauer manages to pull guard.
Liddell pushes down on Bauer's leg and manages to get into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Liddell trying to control from half guard but Bauer is working away.
Liddell not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Liddell passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Bauer!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Bauer keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Bauer is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Liddell is looking to stand but Liddell has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
Bauer is in all sorts of trouble here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Liddell checks a leg kick.
Some wild striking there from Bauer.
Liddell fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jack Bauer is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Liddell throws and low kick but Bauer moves out of range easily.
Liddell throws a series of punches but Bauer moves out of range.
Bauer looks to clinch

and Liddell counters by clinching up.

Bauer manages to break the clinch.
Liddell is looking to clinch but Bauer is avoiding it.
Jack Bauer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Liddell takes a kick to the side of the head.
Bauer tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Liddell cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Liddell misses with a low kick as Bauer jumps back.
Bauer misses with a jab, cross combination.
An inside leg kick lands from Bauer.
Bauer throws a quick inside leg kick.

Bauer forces Liddell back against the cage and clinches.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Liddell is trying to break free.
Bauer avoids the elbow strike from Liddell, against the cage.
Liddell takes a knee right on the jaw!

Bauer has had enough of the clinch but Liddell keeps him there for the moment.

Bauer manages to break the clinch.
Bauer misses with a leg kick
and Liddell connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Liddell wants to clinch.
Bauer throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Liddell steps into range and cracks Bauer with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Bauer flops backwards and Liddell dives into his guard looking to finish!
Oh Bauer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Liddell stands up from Bauer's guard - Liddell perhaps looking for a knockout.
Liddell takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Bauer seems to have got his legs back now.
Liddell has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Liddell there as he acknowledges the shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A slapping leg kick lands for Bauer.

Bauer darts in and clinches Liddell up against the cage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bauer trying to land knees to the body.
Bauer prevents Liddell from breaking the clinch.

Liddell breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bauer throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Bauer scores with a head kick.


Liddell is rocked!
Liddell tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Liddell is still on wobbly legs! Can Bauer finish him?
Crack! Bauer connects with the perfect overhand right and Liddell falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Bauer!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jack Bauer!
