Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Takuma Sakazaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rauno Rauhala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rauhala has chosen Kreator, Impossible Brutality as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Takuma Sakazaki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rauno Rauhala!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rauhala moves into the clinch.
Sakazaki drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Sakazaki is looking to work some ground and pound but Rauhala has wrist control.

Rauhala utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Sakazaki postures up and lands a big shot to Rauhala's brow.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rauhala manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Sakazaki on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Sakazaki tries to get out of the position.
Sakazaki is breathing heavily.

Sakazaki tries to hold on but Rauhala pushes him away.
Rauhala throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Sakazaki is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Sakazaki is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Rauhala postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Sakazaki looks a forlorn figure.


It looks like Takuma Sakazaki has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

BOOM! Rauhala connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Jeez, Takuma Sakazaki's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Takuma Sakazaki's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
