The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hudak looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

Hudak fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Cafuzo sprawls well initially but Hudak persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Hudak is looking to take a break and control but Cafuzo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Hudak is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Cafuzo doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hudak.

Hudak closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Hudak takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Cafuzo has his foot on Hudak's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hudak works his way back into a safe position though.

Cafuzo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hudak gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hudak is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Cafuzo is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Cafuzo wants to clinch up but Hudak keeps it at a distance.

Hudak closes the distance and clinches up with Cafuzo, looking for a takedown. Hudak pushes Cafuzo against the cage but Cafuzo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Hudak is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Cafuzo gets his way!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hudak, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
