Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Aarre Voutilainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teuvo Loman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Voutilainen comes to the cage accompanied by Chase Is Better Than The Catch. Loman has chosen Teuvo Loman - Helsinki City Boy as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Teuvo Loman was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Aarre Voutilainen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Teuvo Loman!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Voutilainen throws a shot from downtown. Loman moves away and avoids it.
Voutilainen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Voutilainen fails to land with a series of punches.
Loman throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Loman uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Voutilainen.
Loman feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Voutilainen is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Loman is controlling him.

Loman is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Voutilainen can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Voutilainen lands a left and a right that send Loman crashing to the mat, dazed. Voutilainen thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Aarre Voutilainen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Voutilainen is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Loman.
Voutilainen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Loman was well out of range. Poor timing from Voutilainen.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Aarre Voutilainen will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Teuvo Loman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Voutilainen looks to land a left hand but Loman moved out of range nicely.
Loman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Voutilainen's waist but Voutilainen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Loman off to one side.

Loman ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Loman no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Voutilainen takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Voutilainen tries to control but Loman wriggling away.
Voutilainen is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Loman is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
