Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Moniz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viktor Kowalczyk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kowalczyk with a hook.

Moniz tries to move into range but Kowalczyk moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Kowalczyk looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Kowalczyk looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Moniz is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

It looks like Ryan Moniz has been cut.

The referee asks Kowalczyk politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Kowalczyk prefers to stall for the moment though.
