Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Che Satomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Satomi has chosen Bad Boys as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Satomi is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Balboa.
Satomi moves out of range of the strikes.
Satomi throws a right and a left that Balboa avoids nicely.
Balboa misses with a hook. Satomi ducked under it nicely.
Satomi slips a straight right by Balboa.
Balboa pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Satomi throws a right hand that Balboa ducks under and follows up with a left that Balboa also avoids with ease.
Balboa swings for the body but Satomi moves out of range.
Satomi fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Nice sprawl there from Balboa as Satomi shoots in.
Satomi misses with a straight left.
Balboa throws a jab when Satomi was well out of range.
A slow jab from Balboa misses its intended target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Satomi avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Satomi has a takedown stuffed.
Satomi shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Balboa pinned against the cage. Balboa gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Rocky Balboa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Che Satomi.
Balboa throws a combination that misses

so Satomi counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Satomi is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Satomi thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Satomi passes Balboa's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Balboa might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Balboa tries to escape but Satomi has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Satomi looking to break Balboa's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Balboa remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Satomi will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Balboa is covering up but some of the strikes from Satomi are getting through and doing damage.
