Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Al Deal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorge Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Deal comes to the cage accompanied by Megadeth - Countdown to Extinction. Jorge Cruz has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Deal keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Cruz misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Deal.
Cruz misses with a straight left.
Cruz misses with a few strikes there.
Cruz throws a right and a left that Deal avoids nicely.
Nice defenses there by Deal.
Cruz will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Deal changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cruz tries to avoid it but Deal manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cruz to the ground. Cruz escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Deal gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Cruz misses with a jab, cross combination.
Cruz is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Deal.
Cruz looks to throw the jab but Deal is out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cruz throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Cruz jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Cruz throws a series of punches but Deal moves out of range.
Cruz throws a jab but it's blocked by Deal.
Deal shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Al Deal. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Deal shoots for a takedown but Cruz saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Cruz fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Deal looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Deal tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Jorge Cruz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Deal steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Cruz.
Cruz is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Deal.
Cruz scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Deal is breathing heavily.
Cruz feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Deal sprawling to the canvas! Deal rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Cruz finish him?!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cruz throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cruz throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Deal. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Cruz misses with an uppercut. Deal saw that one coming.
Cruz connects with a nice cross there... Deal is looking wobbly and Cruz recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Deal to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Cruz jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
