The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stubbs throws a head kick but Green moves out of range.
Stubbs swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Stubbs tries to bum rush Green with a series of wild strikes but Green uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Stubbs scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Stubbs lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Green circles away quickly and effectively.
Green shoots in for a double leg but Stubbs sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Stubbs looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Barny Stubbs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Green shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Stubbs can do anything to dispel that myth.
