The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Latura cracks Builder with a good jab.
Latura throws a series of punches but Builder moves out of range.
Builder ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Latura moves away.
Latura lands a nice looking body shot.
Builder takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Latura checks a leg kick.
A telegraphed right hand from Builder misses the target.
Latura scores with a jab.
The fighters circle momentarily. Latura darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Latura moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Builder has worked his arm free - good work by Builder!
Builder struggling a bit here.
Latura is trying to get an arm triangle but Builder is defending well.

Builder is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Latura's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Latura's back!
Latura is trying to get back to his feet but Builder has full control of the position and if anything, Latura has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Latura manages to reverse the position and now he's in Builder's guard. Nice work there by Latura.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Latura connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Builder wants to slow Latura down by chopping away at his legs.
Latura walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Builder tries to bum rush Latura with a series of wild strikes but Latura uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Builder swings for the body but Latura moves out of range.

Latura moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Latura displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Builder.
Builder throws a predictable looking body shot
and Latura counters with an outside leg kick.

Builder takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Latura lands a nice shot that snaps Builder's head back.
Latura looks to land a combination. Builder sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Latura lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Latura.

Latura connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Builder momentarily.
Latura is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Latura scores with a one two! Builder had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Builder throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Builder looks to score with a jab to the body but Latura is just out of range.
Latura gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Builder counters with a left and a right that stings Latura.
Latura is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Latura uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Builder has time to react.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Latura manages to work his way to half guard, despite Builder's best efforts.
Latura wants to improve his position but Builder is controlling well.
Builder seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Latura is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
