Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vlad Tepes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jarkko Ber!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ber fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ber fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Tepes sprawls well initially but Ber persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Tepes is refusing to be controlled, as Ber sits in half guard.
Ber not doing much here.
Tepes tries to get to full guard but Ber has control of the leg.
Ber controlling the pace.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ber landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Ber winds up and cracks Tepes with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Tepes is staying active underneath Ber, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Ber might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Tepes kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Well, if Ber is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Tepes on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Tepes tries to roll over but Ber keeps him under control.
Ber wants to take a breather but Tepes is having none of it.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jarkko Ber.
Ber keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Ber lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tepes circles away quickly and effectively.
Ber tries to bum rush Tepes with a series of wild strikes but Tepes uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Tepes fails with an attempt to clinch.
Tepes wants to clinch.
Ber shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ber with the ground and pound from mount.
Ber fails to take his opponent's back.
Tepes is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Tepes is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The referee warns Tepes that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Tepes is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ber connects with a bit shot that sees Tepes covering up! More strikes from Ber and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Ber is our winner by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jarkko Ber!
