PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dave Zero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Race Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Zero might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Countdown to Insanity - H-Blockx. The key to victory for Dave Zero has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Zero misses.
Zero tries for a takedown but Williams sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Williams looks up at the clock and then as Zero takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Williams smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
You can see the frustration on Zero's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Zero is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Williams is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Williams throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
The ground and pound from Williams seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Williams closes the distance and clinches up with Zero, looking for a takedown. Williams pushes Zero against the cage but Zero circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
