Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rashid Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Rebrov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Rebrov's choice of entrance music: russian jibber jabber. Vladimir Rebrov will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Evans shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Rebrov flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
The fighters are battling for position here. Rebrov manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Rebrov is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Evans accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Evans throws a big right hand that misses.
Rebrov tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Rebrov is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Evans throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rebrov's waist but Rebrov gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Evans off to one side.
Evans takes one to the side of the head.
Rebrov scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

It looks like Rashid Evans has been cut.
Evans takes one on the button.
Rebrov throws the left hand but Evans avoids the punch easily.
Rebrov is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Evans swings and misses with a hook to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rebrov wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Evans is breathing heavily.
Evans ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rebrov moves away.
Rebrov lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Rebrov connects with a right hand. Evans shakes it off.
Evans needs to keep his hands up - Rebrov had a free shot at his head there.
Rebrov cracks Evans with a good jab.
