Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mestre Pedrao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tito Santana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tito Santana will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Edson Gomes and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pedrao fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Pedrao looks for a takedown but Santana sprawls well.
Santana shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Pedrao manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Santana counters with a nice double leg into side control. Pedrao won't be happy with that.

Santana is looking to take a break and control but Pedrao is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Santana really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pedrao. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Pedrao is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Santana pulls his head out easily.

Santana might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Pedrao kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Santana is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Pedrao gets his way!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Santana looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pedrao is fending him off so far but Santana persists. Nope, Pedrao circles away and we're back to standing.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

A slapping body kick lands there for Santana.
Santana shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Santana is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Pedrao doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Santana.

Pedrao moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Santana has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Pedrao to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Santana is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Pedrao pulls down on the head and he's put Santana to sleep! This one is all over!
