Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Calvin Carver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chesterfield MacArthur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Chesterfield MacArthur!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carver getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

Carver closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming MacArthur to the mat! MacArthur manages to get full guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
MacArthur will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Carver smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

MacArthur uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Carver.

Carver closes the distance and clinches.

Carver pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
MacArthur throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Carver's waist but Carver gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing MacArthur off to one side.

MacArthur decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Carver's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as MacArthur accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

MacArthur throws a strike but Carver rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Carver cracks MacArthur with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Carver has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning MacArthur to stand back up!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Carver circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops MacArthur to the canvas! MacArthur doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Carver keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
