Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Gunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Snow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gunn comes to the cage accompanied by Stranglehold- by Ted Nugent. Snow has chosen Informer as his entrance music. Kyle Gunn has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kyle Gunn!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mark Snow!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Elvis Blanc and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunn swats away the attempt to clinch by Snow.
Snow tries to close the distance and clinch but Gunn swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Gunn fails with a takedown attempt.
Gunn throws a series of punches but Snow moves out of range.
Snow tries to clinch but Gunn moves out of range.

Snow fails in his attempt to clinch.
Snow looks to land a combination but Gunn avoids it well.

Snow gets in close and instigates a clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gunn has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Snow connects with a nasty looking knee right to Gunn's face.

Gunn gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Gunn is breathing heavily.
Gunn postures up in Snow's guard and throws a big left but Snow blocks it.

Gunn wants to control from the top but Snow keeps moving.
Snow is looking to stand up but Gunn isn't so interested in that idea.

Gunn thows a big elbow that misses.

Snow can't keep his opponent in guard - Gunn advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Gunn is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Snow is trying to stand back up but Gunn is controlling him

Gunn seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Snow does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Gunn not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Snow is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Gunn slips a nice elbow through Snow's hands, connecting with Snow's forehead.
Gunn is nestled in close to Snow, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Gunn wants to lay and pray for a moment but Snow keeps working.

Gunn is trying to work for a kimura but Snow is defending well.

Snow has hold of Gunn's hands but Gunn slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Snow really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gunn. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Gunn thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gunn not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Gunn trying to control from Snow's half guard. Snow has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
Snow utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Gunn trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Kyle Gunn will probably get the nod.
That's time! Gunn's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Gunn has his feet on Snow's thighs here. He's pushed Snow off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Snow screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
