Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kyrylo Davydenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stephen Hawkings (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hawkings is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Happy Happy Joy Joy. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Horrible takedown by Davydenko or perhaps it was just good defense by Hawkings which made him look bad.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kyrylo Davydenko. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Davydenko with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hawkings to score with a decent uppercut.
Hawkings with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Hawkings dips to his left and cracks Davydenko with an uppercut!
Davydenko misses with a straight right.
Hawkings scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Davydenko closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hawkings circles away.
Davydenko is breathing heavily.
Hawkings connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
It looks like Kyrylo Davydenko has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Davydenko tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Hawkings moves into range and connects with a jab.
Davydenko takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Hawkings loads up on a big left hand. Davydenko felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Hawkings looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Davydenko can't hide his disappointment, as Hawkings celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Stephen Hawkings!
