Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between PeeWee Herman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Amalric Fitzgerald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fitzgerald has chosen Sinergy - Spit on your grave as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Amalric Fitzgerald enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Herman.
Fitzgerald thows a body shot but no joy.
Herman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Fitzgerald jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Fitzgerald clobbers Herman with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Herman closes the distance and clinches up with Fitzgerald, looking for a takedown. Herman pushes Fitzgerald against the cage but Fitzgerald circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Fitzgerald swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Fitzgerald throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Herman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fitzgerald's waist but Fitzgerald gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Herman off to one side.

Herman bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Herman is trying to control the action in half guard but Fitzgerald is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Herman is pressing down on Fitzgerald's thigh, looking to free his foot. Fitzgerald is holding on for now.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Fitzgerald fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Herman looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Fitzgerald throws a hook but Herman blocks it.

Herman takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Fitzgerald looks to score with a jab to the body but Herman is just out of range.
Fitzgerald fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Herman manages to avoid it.
Herman shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Fitzgerald counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for PeeWee Herman. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Fitzgerald is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Herman is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
