The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bulldog throws a right hand that Gabrielli ducks under and follows up with a left that Gabrielli also avoids with ease.
Gabrielli connects with a crisp jab.
Bulldog shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Gabrielli sprawls well. Gabrielli wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bulldog gets slowly back to his feet.
Bulldog throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gabrielli.
Bulldog shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gabrielli but Gabrielli pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Gabrielli keeps the fight on the outside.
Bulldog stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Gabrielli.
Gabrielli misses with a combination
and Bulldog counters with a series of strikes. Gabrielli will be more careful next time no doubt.

Gabrielli cracks Bulldog with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Bulldog looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Gabrielli finish him?
Bulldog is rocked!
It looks like Buster Bulldog has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gabrielli throws a nice inside leg kick.

Gabrielli fails to land with a series of punches.

A solid leg kick lands there for Gabrielli.
Gabrielli throws a series of punches but Bulldog moves out of range.
Gabrielli feints and then cracks Bulldog's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bulldog down.
Gabrielli sends Bulldog crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Gabrielli is motioning to the referee to let Bulldog up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Bulldog is still on wobbly legs! Can Gabrielli finish him?
Buster Bulldog seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bulldog drops his hands momentarily. Gabrielli doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Bulldog staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Bulldog doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
