The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
arm misses with an uppercut. Velasco saw that one coming.
Velasco uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from arm.

It looks like Severino Velasco has been cut.
Velasco showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from arm.

Velasco shoots in but no luck this time.
Velasco slips under a jab from arm.
arm looks to land a right hand but Velasco moved out of range.

arm drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Velasco manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now arm has Velasco in his guard.
Oh Velasco is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
