The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Reed Andrews and Eddie Farnsworth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones wants to clinch up but Davis keeps it at a distance.
Davis misses with a wild body shot.
Davis looks to land a right hand but Jones moved out of range.
Jones shoots in for a takedown but Davis shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Davis ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Jones scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Jones trying to control the position but Davis is working away.

Jones wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Davis, who protects the arm well.
Jones looking to control but instead Davis has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
Davis is refusing to be controlled, as Jones sits in half guard.
Davis is looking for a sweep. Jones is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Jones wants to free his trapped foot but Davis is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Jones seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Davis does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Jones lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Jones prevents Davis from improving his position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Davis can do anything to dispel that myth.

Jones is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Davis really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jones is keen to just control but Davis is a slippery customer.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Jones avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Jones shoots in but no luck this time.
Davis misses with a wild body shot.
Davis throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jones throws a front kick aimed at Davis's knee but Davis avoids it well.
Mikey Davis is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Davis scores with a body shot.
Davis looks to land a left hand but Jones moved out of range nicely.
Davis misses with a few strikes there.
Jones tries to close the distance and clinch but Davis swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Jones changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Davis tries to avoid it but Jones manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Davis to the ground. Davis escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Jones tries to clinch up but Davis circles away and keeps his distance.

Davis drops Jones with a left and a right! Oh, Jones is hurt - Davis dives into side control looking to finish!

It looks like Jordan Jones has been cut.

Davis lands a strong strike to the head of Jones. That's dazed him! Davis looking to finish here. Jones is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Davis lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
