Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Turo Naama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caden Akergaard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Turo Naama!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Anni Minnemäki and Johanna Lukiainen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Naama tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
A nice inside leg kick there by Akergaard. That's going to slow Naama down.
Naama is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Naama sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Akergaard throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Naama was covering up waiting for the punch and Akergaard finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Akergaard stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Naama swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Akergaard postures up in Naama's guard and throws a big left but Naama blocks it.
Akergaard passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Akergaard is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Naama's shoulder. That is not cool.
Naama wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Naama prevents Akergaard from improving position.
Akergaard is staying tight to Naama's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Naama might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Naama takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Akergaard tries for a kimura but Naama is defending well.
Akergaard happy to just control the position for now.

Naama on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Naama is trying to escape the position but Akergaard is controlling the position.
Naama wants to get back to his feet but Akergaard drags him back down.
Akergaard wants to control but Naama is keeping him busy.

Akergaard working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Naama is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Akergaard asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Akergaard has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Akergaard tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Akergaard has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Naama on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Naama tries to get out of the position.

Akergaard has an Americana. Naama didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Akergaard is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Akergaard hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
