Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and KJ Noons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Johnson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to . KJ Noons has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Noons throws out a loose jab but Johnson uses good head movement to avoid it.

Johnson gets the takedown into side control.
Noons is being controlled here.
Johnson tries to score with some ground and pound. Noons controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Noons really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Johnson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Johnson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Noons is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Noons tries to lock up and control but Johnson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
