Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between linus backer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Tyler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think backer might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to 100 million dollars. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Tyler plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Tyler swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Tyler tries to land a front kick but backer steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Tyler tries to clinch up but backer circles away and keeps his distance.

backer tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tyler was well out of range. Poor timing from backer.
backer walks forward, straight into a front kick from Tyler.

backer leaves Tyler with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Tyler tries a head kick but it misses.
backer misses with a straight right.
Tyler throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Tyler misses with a body kick.
A big left from Tyler misses.
The fight stays on the outside here - Tyler looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Tyler fakes the leg kick and cracks backer in the body.

Tyler lands a head kick. backer smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Tyler stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tyler wants it to stay on the feet.

Tyler lands a nice leg kick that just misses backer's sensitive parts.

Tyler lands with a kick to the temple. backer shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

and Tyler finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

Jake Tyler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tyler throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Tyler misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

backer tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Tyler swivels and escapes.
Tyler defends well against a solid takedown attempt from backer.
backer swats away the attempt to clinch by Tyler.

backer bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
