The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Steven Brown and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from haigh is defended easily by Leonardo.
Leonardo fails with an attempt to clinch.
haigh swats away the attempt to clinch by Leonardo.
Leonardo shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Leonardo showed some decent athleticism there.
haigh is trying to stand up here but Leonardo is controlling him well.
haigh tries to get to full guard but Leonardo has control of the leg.
haigh missing with punches from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Leonardo is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

haigh wants to control but Leonardo is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Leonardo is taking a breather. haigh says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
haigh throws a body kick that misses.
haigh drives through with a takedown into guard.

Leonardo lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for haigh!

Leonardo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
haigh is desperately trying to improve his position but Leonardo has a good base and remains in mount.

Leonardo is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! haigh is forced to tap! Great finish!
