Severn has chosen White Zombie - Electric Head: The Extasy (Pt 2) as his entrance music. Carlos de Souza could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Trent Severn's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
de Souza stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

It looks like Trent Severn has been cut.
A punch combination from de Souza misses.
Carlos de Souza seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Severn showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from de Souza.
de Souza throws a looping overhand right but Severn ducks down to avoid it.
Severn takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Severn walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

de Souza lands a nice hook to Severn's body. Severn takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Severn feints and then cracks de Souza's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow de Souza down.
de Souza is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Severn lands a big head kick that sends de Souza tumbling to the mat! Severn takes a step backwards and waves de Souza back to his feet - he wants the finish!
