The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut there from Ganns.

It looks like Jon Penn has been cut.
Ganns throws a head kick but Penn moves out of range.
Penn shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ganns sprawls well. Ganns wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Penn gets slowly back to his feet.
Ganns throws a sloppy head kick and Penn moves out of range easily.
Penn throws a series of punches but Ganns avoids them all with ease.

Penn shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ganns as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jon Penn. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Penn takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ganns throws a head kick that misses.

Ganns working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Penn turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Ganns off and cradles Penn's limp body as Ganns celebrates with his corner.
