Ner has chosen Just Another Victim by Helmet&House Of Pain as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ner avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
A slow jab from Motta misses its intended target.
Motta connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Ner fails to land with a series of punches.
Ner misses with a two punch combination.
Motta jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Motta scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Motta will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Motta thuds a left hand into Ner's body.
A left and a right from Motta both land. Nice combination.
Motta looks to land a combination. Ner sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

The fighters circling - Ner throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Ner throws a right hand that Motta ducks under and follows up with a left that Motta also avoids with ease.
Ner on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Motta closes the distance looking for a takedown. Ner stuffs it but Motta still has hold of him. Motta picks Ner up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Motta slams Ner to the floor and that's really hurt Ner - he doesn't know where he is! Motta throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!
