Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rhet Bart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Accounting (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bart comes to the cage accompanied by My Name Is Not A Pun by The Generic Indie Band 28. Accounting has chosen The Macarana as his entrance music. Bob Accounting will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bob Accounting!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Joseph Jones and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Bart stalling against the cage.
Accounting drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Accounting changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Bart fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Accounting scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Bart works his way to full guard. Good work.

Accounting avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Accounting missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Accounting connects with a couple of short punches.

Bart looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Accounting postures up in Bart's guard and throws a big left but Bart blocks it.

Accounting loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Bart looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Accounting postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Bart throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Bart might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Accounting tries to free his leg and advance position but Bart is retaining full guard.

Accounting drops back, looking for a kneebar! Bart looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Bart looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Bart!
Bart is breathing heavily.
Accounting is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Bart is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Bart looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Bart wants to get back to his feet but Accounting is holding on tight.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Accounting tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Accounting is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Bart pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
Bart prevents Accounting from getting the reversal.
Accounting sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Accounting is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Accounting actively working from the bottom here.

Bart is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Accounting doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Bart.
Bart works his foot free and advances to mount.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Bart get's back to his feet.
Bart scores with a jab to the body.

Accounting gets caught flat footed, as Bart shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Bart trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Accounting is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Bart trying to control but Accounting is working from the bottom.

Bart stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Rhet Bart seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bart feints and as Accounting raises his hands in defense, Bart changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Bart advances to half guard.
Accounting tries to roll over but Bart keeps him under control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Bart seems to be working for a kimura but Accounting defends the submission attempt.

Bart stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Accounting to get to his feet.

Bart closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bart lands in his opponent's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Accounting wants to sweep here but Bart controlling him for the moment.

Accounting has his foot on Bart's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bart works his way back into a safe position though.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Bart works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Accounting manages to get to full guard.
Accounting wants to sweep here but Bart controlling him for the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rhet Bart dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Accounting gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Bart preventing the sweep.

Bart drops back looking for a leg! Accounting is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Accounting manages to kick Bart off! Bart jumps back into Accounting's guard.
Accounting tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Accounting throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Accounting doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Accounting wants to sweep here but Bart controlling him for the moment.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Accounting looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Accounting is breathing heavily.

Bart drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bart jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Accounting looking for a sweep. Not yet Accounting, not yet.
Accounting keeping moving, preventing Bart from controlling successfully.
Bart looking to pass the guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Bart shoots in and bounces Accounting off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Accounting is striking but Bart is not phased and passes to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Accounting is looking to improve his position.

Bart is working for a kimura but Accounting is defending it quite comfortably.
Accounting moves into full guard.
Accounting throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Accounting throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Rhet Bart overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Accounting is looking for a triangle but Bart pushes his legs off easily.

Accounting has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Bart should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Accounting has tightened it up now! Bart should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:02 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Bob Accounting!
