Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ellis pushes Hotaru away with a front kick.
Ellis throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Hotaru.
Hotaru throws a leg kick but Ellis checks it.
A cross from Ellis lands.
Hotaru shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Ellis manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Hotaru won't allow Ellis to sweep him here.

Ellis looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Hotaru's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hotaru is looking to work some ground and pound but Ellis has wrist control.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Hotaru fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Hotaru is breathing heavily.
Ellis pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ellis throws a good cross that connects.
Ellis should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Hotaru takes one to the side of the head.

Hotaru throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Ellis counters with a nice body kick.
Ellis looks to land a combination. Hotaru sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Ellis clobbers Hotaru with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
A nice inside leg kick there by Ellis. That's going to slow Hotaru down.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ellis avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hotaru tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ellis swivels and escapes.
Ellis fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Ellis ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Ellis lands a jab-cross combination.
Hotaru is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ellis's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Ellis duly obliges.
Oh Hotaru is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hotaru takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
The fighters circle, before Ellis throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Hotaru's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Ellis lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
