Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Quentin Cane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Trujillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cane comes to the cage accompanied by Alice In Chains - Man In The Box. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jose Trujillo was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Cane throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Trujillo sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Trujillo ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Trujillo ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

and Trujillo counters with an inside leg kick.
Cane throws the left hand but Trujillo avoids the punch easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Trujillo is not content to let Cane control the position.
Cane remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Cane, as that shot connected.
Trujillo chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Cane can pounce on him.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cane lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Trujillo circles away quickly and effectively.

Cane is looking to take a break and control but Trujillo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Well Cane has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
