The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Overeem has a takedown stuffed.
Overeem misses with a two punch combination.
Aristarx Overeem seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
CROCOP throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Overeem changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. CROCOP tries to avoid it but Overeem manages to keep hold of a leg and drag CROCOP to the ground. CROCOP escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Overeem checks a low kick from CROCOP.
A left and a right from CROCOP both land. Nice combination.
Horrible takedown by Overeem or perhaps it was just good defense by CROCOP which made him look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aristarx Overeem. That's going to take a lot out of him.
CROCOP misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Overeem shoots in but no luck this time.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Overeem.

CROCOP lands a big head kick that sends Overeem tumbling to the mat! CROCOP takes a step backwards and waves Overeem back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Aristarx Overeem has been cut.

Overeem shoots in and drives through. CROCOP sprawls well.
CROCOP defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Overeem.
Overeem keeps the fight on the outside.
Overeem blocks a head kick by CROCOP.
Overeem throws a head kick that misses
and CROCOP makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Overeem is breathing heavily.
CROCOP throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Overeem looks for the body kick but CROCOP saw that one coming.
Overeem fails with the takedown
and CROCOP counters with a huge left! Overeem is in big trouble! He's backing up but CROCOP isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Overeem from any more damage. A dominating finish by CROCOP!
