The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nakutin tries to clinch up.
Crunch! Nakutin slams his shin into Gill's torso.
Gill dives in and grabs Nakutin's left leg, looking for a takedown. Nakutin pushes down on Gill's head and hops out.
Gill fails to land the takedown.
Nakutin throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Gill's head.

Nakutin tries to land knees in the clinch but Gill avoids the damage to the body.

Gill has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Nakutin can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Gill has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Nakutin doesn't defend quickly enough and Gill has managed to lock this one up! Can Nakutin escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Gill on a fantastic submission victory.
