Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mike Rob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and BJJ Extraordinaire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Extraordinaire's choice of entrance music: Young Jeezy - Lose My Mind ft. Plies. BJJ Extraordinaire acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Extraordinaire shoots for a double leg takedown but Rob sprawls well. He's pushed Extraordinaire's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Extraordinaire throws a head kick but Rob moves out of range.
Rob tries for a takedown but Extraordinaire circles away easily

and Extraordinaire decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Rob's guard.
Rob wants to get back to his feet but Extraordinaire passes into half guard.
Rob knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Extraordinaire on the ground.
Extraordinaire passes into side control, despite Rob's attempt to control the position.
Extraordinaire takes advantage of some sloppy striking from Rob to pass into mount.
Rob wants to hold on but Extraordinaire pushes him away.

Extraordinaire is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Rob sees it coming and defends easily.

Rob wants to control but Extraordinaire is keeping busy.
Extraordinaire is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Rob!

Rob is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Extraordinaire jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Rob manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Extraordinaire has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Rob!
Rob tries to lock up and control but Extraordinaire gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Extraordinaire is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Rob can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Rob has given up his back.

Extraordinaire is looking for the choke from the back position but Rob is controlling his hands well.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rob just trying to survive but Extraordinaire is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Rob manages to reverse the position and now he's in Extraordinaire's guard. Nice work there by Rob.
Extraordinaire manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Rob manages to get himself to full guard.
Extraordinaire passes Rob's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Rob is breathing heavily.
