The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ciechan.
Jones lands a nice looking body shot.
Jones scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Ciechan shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Jones works Ciechan's body with a nice hook.
Jones dips to his left and cracks Ciechan with an uppercut!
Ciechan fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Jones thuds a left hand into Ciechan's body.

Tommy Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jones scores with a hook to the body. Ciechan takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
A jab from Jones finds it's way through Ciechan's defenses.
Jones scores with a sloppy right hand. Ciechan should have avoided that one.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Jones. Ciechan shrugs it off though.

Tommy Jones is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Jones drops Ciechan with a right and a left! Jones comes rushing in but Ciechan regains his composure and manages to keep Jones in guard.
Jones gets to his feet and stands over Ciechan, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Ciechan felt that one! Jones unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Ciechan from any more punishment!
