Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between King Cobra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommie Chong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cobra's entrance music is Rooster. A fine choice. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cobra shoots in but Chong avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Chong stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cobra swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Cobra seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Chong for as long as he can get away with.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Good leg kick by Cobra there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of King Cobra.
Chong throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Cobra shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Chong manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Cobra throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Chong's waist but Chong gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cobra off to one side.

Cobra has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to King Cobra.
I think Chong has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
