Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Baby Jesus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Winkletoe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Winkletoe shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Jesus is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Jesus avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Winkletoe postures up in Jesus's guard and throws a big left but Jesus blocks it.
Winkletoe wants to pass the guard but Jesus is keeping the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Winkletoe trying to control but Jesus is working from the bottom.
Winkletoe is fighting to break Jesus's control of his arms but Jesus is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Winkletoe throws a big right hand that misses.

Winkletoe wants to control from the top but Jesus keeps moving.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Jesus is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Winkletoe.
Jesus misses with an uppercut. Winkletoe saw that one coming.

Winkletoe shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Jesus looks for the body kick but Winkletoe saw that one coming.
Baby Jesus is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Winkletoe fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jesus avoids it really well and circles away.
Baby Jesus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tom Winkletoe.
Winkletoe shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jesus as he avoids it easily.
Jesus misses with an uppercut. Winkletoe saw that one coming.
Jesus takes a swing at Winkletoe's ribcage but misses.
Jesus misses with a hook. Winkletoe ducked under it nicely.
Jesus misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Winkletoe looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jesus is fending him off so far but Winkletoe persists. Nope, Jesus circles away and we're back to standing.
Baby Jesus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Winkletoe takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Winkletoe will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Jesus looks to land a right hand but Winkletoe moved out of range.
Winkletoe uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jesus.

Winkletoe scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Winkletoe wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jesus keeps working.

Winkletoe is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jesus is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Winkletoe throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Winkletoe trying to control the position but Jesus is working away.
Jesus dodges the ground and pound from Winkletoe.
Winkletoe taking a break here but Jesus is having none of it and regains half guard.
Winkletoe throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Jesus connects with a good right hand that stumbles Winkletoe. Winkletoe circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Jesus throws a hook to the side of Winkletoe's head but Winkletoe sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Jesus misses with a jab, cross combination.

Winkletoe changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jesus looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Winkletoe working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Winkletoe throws an elbow but Jesus slips to the side and avoids it well.
Winkletoe laying and praying for a moment but Jesus takes advantage and regains half guard.
Winkletoe throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Baby Jesus will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Jesus lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Winkletoe at a distance.
Winkletoe blocks a jab.
Jesus misses the shot to the body.
Tom Winkletoe is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Winkletoe shoots in for a double leg but Jesus sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Winkletoe fails with the takedown.
A looping hook to the body misses from Jesus. Winkletoe does a little dance to reset his feet.
Winkletoe tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jesus swivels and escapes.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Winkletoe.
Winkletoe shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Jesus scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Jesus rushes Winkletoe with punches - Winkletoe moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Winkletoe goes down! Jesus follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
