The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kruger misses with a hook. Ayala ducked under it nicely.

Kruger throws a looping overhand right but Ayala ducks down to avoid it.
Ayala tries to clinch but Kruger is having none of it.

It looks like Argus Ayala has been cut.

Kruger tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ayala wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Ayala is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kruger knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
