Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Juoppo Apina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vegas Willyams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Willyams has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Vegas Willyams has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Juoppo Apina's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Apina bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Apina scoring with punches and elbows.
Willyams tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Willyams looks gassed!
Apina is working Willyams over with some ground and pound from side control.
Apina slips into full mount, dodging the strikes by Willyams.
Willyams is bucking up trying to escape but Apina cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Apina is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Willyams to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Willyams shrugs it off.
Apina could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Willyams regains half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Apina looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Apina is trying for a kimura here. Willyams looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Apina wins by kimura!
