Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between RUSH IRONMAN (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jhonny Cage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). RUSH IRONMAN looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, RUSH IRONMAN!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jhonny Cage!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Fujiwara and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
IRONMAN moves in looking to clinch but Cage pushes him off.
IRONMAN fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Cage has his takedown stuffed
and IRONMAN counters with a takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
IRONMAN is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Cage is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Cage gets back to half guard.
Cage makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Cage.
IRONMAN stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cage swivels though and keeps the full guard.
IRONMAN is breathing heavily.
Cage seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Cage looking for a sweep. Not yet Cage, not yet.

Cage is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Cage is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Cage closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. IRONMAN did well to prevent Cage getting side control.
IRONMAN keeps control of the position for the meantime.
IRONMAN on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if IRONMAN tries to get out of the position.

IRONMAN tries to roll over but Cage keeps him under control.

IRONMAN is looking for a sweep. Cage is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jhonny Cage.

and Cage decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in IRONMAN's guard.

IRONMAN is trying to control the position but Cage postures up.
IRONMAN looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Cage wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Cage wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but IRONMAN has him pressed against the cage.
IRONMAN breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

IRONMAN swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Cage sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Cage is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

Cage seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
IRONMAN trying to control the position from guard on top but Cage is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Cage pulls IRONMAN in close to his closed guard and prevents IRONMAN from doing any damage or advancing position.
Cage manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. IRONMAN manages to get himself to full guard.
IRONMAN wants to get back to his feet but Cage is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Cage is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

What can IRONMAN do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

IRONMAN is squirming around, avoiding Cage's attempts to control the action.
Cage is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
IRONMAN is controlling an arm, preventing Cage from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

IRONMAN is trying desperately to improve position.

IRONMAN has his foot on Cage's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Cage works his way back into a safe position though.

Cage is pushing down on IRONMAN's leg trying to pass to half guard. IRONMAN is fighting to maintain full guard but Cage has managed to sneak the leg through.
RUSH IRONMAN has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Jhonny Cage comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Cage winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
