Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nevland misses with a takedown attempt - Assisi sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Assisi bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Nevland can't do much from the bottom here.
Assisi tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Assisi has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Nevland is pushing Assisi's head away, looking to escape. Assisi manages to hold on to the position though.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Assisi will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Assisi is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Nevland has escaped the position, nice work there.
