Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Junie Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlo Severus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Junie Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Carlo Severus!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, William Peck and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Severus moves in looking to clinch but Silva pushes him off.
Silva shoots for a takedown but Severus saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Silva uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Severus.

Silva fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Severus, pushing him back against the cage.
Severus goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Silva lands a left hand that snaps the head of Severus backwards.
Silva drops down looking for an ankle pick but Severus pulls his leg out and moves away.
Severus throws a body punch but Silva moves out of range.

Silva has Severus up against the cage in a clinch.
Silva drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Junie Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Silva breaks from the clinch.
Severus misses with a low kick as Silva jumps back.
Severus throws a big shot that misses.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Severus, right into the meat.

Silva decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Severus wants to improve his position but Silva is controlling well.

Silva is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Severus is just riding it out for now. Silva eventually gives up the hold.

Silva looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Severus is looking to escape.
Severus moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Severus keeping full guard, as Silva tries to pass.
Severus wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Silva manages to pass to side control.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Silva is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Severus is looking for a sweep. Silva is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Severus tries to kick Silva off but Silva keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Silva thows a huge punch but Severus dodges it nicely.
Silva is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Severus!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silva throwing strikes here but Severus is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Silva pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Silva is landing with some decent strikes but Severus is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Silva trying to control but Severus is having none of it.
Silva lands a heavy elbow.

Severus is rocked!

Silva postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Severus in real trouble here! The ref calls for Severus to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
