The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith throws a looping overhand right but Bulaun ducks down to avoid it.
Smith stuffs the takedown attempt from Bulaun. Bulaun gets slowly back to his feet.
Bulaun keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Smith.

Bulaun looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Smith!
Bulaun misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Bulaun is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Smith has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Smith!

Bulaun has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Smith can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Bulaun isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Smith stacks Bulaun on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Smith!

Bulaun is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Smith off and has taken his back!
