Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rad Thibodeaux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Shelby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shelby comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Amazing kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Nate Shelby has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thibodeaux blocks a jab.
A jab from Shelby misses.
Thibodeaux lands a nice leg kick that just misses Shelby's sensitive parts.
Shelby misses with a two punch combination.
Thibodeaux uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Shelby.
Shelby jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
A shot to the liver by Shelby. Beautiful body shot.

Thibodeaux throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Shelby stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Thibodeaux follows into mount!

Shelby is rocked!

It looks like Nate Shelby has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Shelby tries to control Thibodeaux 's body but Thibodeaux pushes him off. Shelby squirms to his side and now Thibodeaux has his back!
Shelby is still in real trouble! Can Thibodeaux finish him?
Thibodeaux just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Shelby seems to have recovered his senses.
Shelby tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Thibodeaux stands up from mount. Strange move.
Thibodeaux takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Thibodeaux takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Thibodeaux avoids the body shot from Shelby.
Thibodeaux throws a head kick that misses.
Thibodeaux throws a head kick but Shelby moves out of range.
Shelby lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Shelby slips under a jab.
Shelby connects with a single shot there.
Thibodeaux defending well as Shelby loads up on a big left hand.
Shelby chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Thibodeaux can pounce on him.
Thibodeaux is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Shelby looks to land a left hand but Thibodeaux moved out of range nicely.
Shelby lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Thibodeaux circles away quickly and effectively.

Thibodeaux takes the fight into the clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Shelby lands a hook that snaps the head of Thibodeaux backwards.

Shelby tries to break the clinch but Thibodeaux is controlling the position.
Shelby lands a body punch in the clinch.
A short body shot lands from Shelby as the two fighters clinch.
Shelby lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Shelby lands a right hand.
Shelby makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Thibodeaux is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Shelby is defending well for now.
Shelby cracks Thibodeaux with a nice body shot.

Shelby lands with a short head shot on the inside.

Oh Thibodeaux is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Shelby.

Shelby pushes Thibodeaux back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Shelby's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Shelby lands with a big right hook that stumbles Thibodeaux - he's out on his feet here! Shelby follows up with another monster hook that separates Thibodeaux from consciousness! Thibodeaux falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Shelby stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
