Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nano Sungia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Palmer Collins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Palmer Collins has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nano Sungia!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Palmer Collins!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Collins misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Sungia misses with the combination.
Sungia looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Sungia keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Nice defenses there by Collins.
Sungia throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Collins avoids a punch combination nicely.

Sungia closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Collins sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Sungia is controlling an arm, preventing Collins from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Sungia is looking to improve his position but Collins isn't that keen on the idea.

Sungia wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Collins.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nano Sungia is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Sungia looks to land a left hand but Collins moved out of range nicely.
Collins takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sungia fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Collins takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.


It looks like Palmer Collins has been cut.

and Sungia makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Sungia lands with a kick to the temple. Collins shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Collins uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Sungia.
Sungia ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Collins moves away.

Nano Sungia has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Palmer Collins.

Collins uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Sungia.
Nano Sungia is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Collins drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Sungia can't do much from the bottom here.

Collins tries for a kimura but Sungia is defending well.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Sungia is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Sungia moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!


Sungia throws a head kick that misses.

Sungia throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Collins looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Collins takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Collins fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Sungia avoids it really well and circles away.
Sungia darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Collins doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Collins blocks a low kick nicely.
Sungia throws a chopping leg kick but Collins manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Sungia had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Collins defends it easily.

Collins is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Sungia is trying to keep Collins in close.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Sungia throws an overhand right that lands on Collins's shoulder, as Collins tries to avoid the shot.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Sungia tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Collins was well out of range. Poor timing from Sungia.

Collins looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Sungia throws a hook to the side of Collins's head but Collins sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Sungia looks to score with a jab to the body but Collins is just out of range.

And that's the end of the fight!
Nano Sungia showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Sungia has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
